Kaden is a adorable little boy who is 5 years old. Kaden has been in care since he was about 7 months old. He was found to have hearing loss, and received a cochlear implant in December 2013. Kaden is in good health, and has been a student at a school for the deaf to receive language training. He is a bright little boy, who is able to complete a new task on his own shortly after seeing it done for the first time. Kaden is a kind and sensible boy, who is as active as his friends. Lacy is a beautiful 9 year old girl, who has recently had surgery to correct her club feet. Lacy was born with a meningocele and club feet. She was found when she was an infant, and stayed with that family until 2013, at which time she entered the orphanage. Lacey has found her forever family!
Laney is a beautiful little girl who will turn 4 years old in May. She came into care when she was a few months old, and was found to have anal atresia, and vision impairment. Laney had surgery late in 2011 for the atresia. Laney found her family!
This is Jacob, 7 years old, and on our list at Hawaii International Child. Jacob was born with arthrogryposis that affects his hands and feet. He has recently has surgery on his legs/feet and is still receiving post surgery care of the rods/pins/bolts, etc. He has been a trooper! Even before his surgery, he was able to stand and walk with support. Jacob is very bright, and very social. Jacob has been matched with his forever family!
Miles is 12 years old! He was found in the waiting area of a train station when he was about 5 years old. Miles is very small for his age likely due to his Thalassemia. Miles needs a family soon, as he will age out in June 2016. He is an outgoing and very happy kid, who is helpful, and eager to learn. Miles loves to read comic books! He can take care of all his own needs. His cognitive, motor, and speech skills are all on target. Miles has a new family!
Sawyer is a handsome 5 year old boy. He has been living at the orphanage since he was 6 months old. Sawyer has a vision impairment, with some light perception (according to the orphanage staff). He is a very smart and verbal little guy, who knows how to sweet talk his nanny into giving him treats! Sawyer is in good health, and his gross motor skills are very good. Sawyer has a new forever family!
Blake is a very handsome boy who recently turned 12 years old. He has been in care since he was 6 years old. Blake has mild hearing loss in his left ear, and significant hearing loss in his right ear. Blake is able to hear in his left ear, and attends a school for the deaf where he is a good student. He is able to speak. Blake has been matched!
Wonderful news! We found a forever family for Rory, an adorable little girl, will turn two very soon. Rory is a good tempered little one who loves to smile when happy and leans her head to one side. A sure-fire way to get a smile and laugh out of Rory is to give a good cuddle.
